Sustainable lubrication technology for wind turbines #worldresearchawards

Description

This study investigates the preparation and tribological performance of wind turbine lubricating oil enhanced with nano-ZnMgAl layered double hydroxides (LDHs). The nano additives significantly improve friction reduction, anti-wear behavior, and lubrication stability under demanding operating conditions. The research highlights the potential of layered double hydroxide nanomaterials to enhance turbine efficiency, extend component lifespan, and support sustainable energy system reliability.
