Silver nanocluster polyoxometalate frameworks for catalytic H₂O₂ determi...

Description

This study explores the development of a silver-containing polyoxometalate (Ag–POM) electrochemical sensor designed for the sensitive and selective detection of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) generated in cancer cells. The hybrid material combines the redox activity and stability of POMs with the excellent conductivity and catalytic properties of silver, enabling real-time monitoring of oxidative stress associated with tumor metabolism. The innovative Ag–POM nanocomposite demonstrates high electrocatalytic efficiency, stability, and biocompatibility, paving the way for precise biosensing and early cancer diagnostics through non-invasive electrochemical techniques.
