Various detection techniques—such as laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CIMS), and peroxy radical chemical amplification (PERCA)—are evaluated for their sensitivity, precision, and environmental applicability. The review also highlights methodological advances, intercomparison campaigns, and challenges in measuring low-concentration radicals under ambient conditions, contributing to a better understanding of atmospheric chemical dynamics and climate interactions
